ZURICH (SWITZERLAND)

The Direct Disco-Team consists of Mike Bannwart, Ralph Grieco and Urs Diethelm. All three producers dispose of many years with experience as DJs. Between 1979 and 1985 Mike Bannwart „rocked“ the clubs in Zurich and to this day Ralph Grieco and Urs Diethelm are among to the best-known DJs of the Swiss clubbing scene. Both are ruling the dancefloors of Swiss clubs Kaufleuten, Laborbar, Indochine (all in Zurich) and Pravda (Lucerne). Additionally they work as resident DJs at the legendary afterwork party “5nach6” at the Carlton in Zurich.

From 1985 on the successful trio particularly concentrated on own productions in the range of house, R’n’B, chillout and contemporary jazz. With the first track “Join the disco ride” out of their latest project “Direct Disco” they launched a sexy-cool club hit that likewise inspired DJs as well as radio stations. At first go the track reached top classings in the international charts, for example in Greece, Italy and Spain.

Mike Bannwart, Ralph Grieco and Urs Diethelm are producing in their own professional studios in Dübendorf and Gossau near Zurich.
