Hot on the heels of his massive hits «Stereo Flavas» and «Hollywood», and his groundbreaking electro-jazz album «Swim: In the Deep», HiFi Mike is set to burn dance floors across Europe in late 2007.

A self-taught multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer, Mike is equally at home on the live scene both solo and alongside the world’s top DJ producers. Mike’s stand-out shows include a house set at Home nightclub on the main floor with Alex Taylor/ Sandy Rivera and chillout/ambient gigs with jazz guitarist Tim Rollinson, and the release of Swim: In the Deep had him playing non-stop live sets all through 2006. This included an all-star show at the Vanguard in Sydney that also featured Steve Kilbey (The Church), Connie Mitchell (Sneaky Sound System), iota (Hedwig), and Inga Liljestrom among a live band of killer musicians. Mike has also played alongside the worlds best DJs / Acts, including Kings of Tomorrow, Mateo and Matos, Ian Pooley and Kenny Dope. For his lead track from Swim: In the Deep, I’ll Carry You, Mike worked with Carmen Rizzo, an artist best known for his work with Paul Oakenfold, in Los Angeles. I’ll Carry You also features on Carmen Rizzo’s new album, The Lost Art of the Idle Moment.
Mike has toured Australia and New Zealand extensively and when not creating his own prodigious blend of house, soul, electronica and jazz can also be found producing and remixing other artists, including the Betty Vale debut album “RED”. The sister album to Swim: In the Deep, Swim: On the Surface, will be released early in 2008 and will once again feature ravishing vocal performances by some of Australia’s hottest talent.
