Soulful, rich, earthy, powerful - that is the voice of Chicago-based House Diva, singer/songwriter Andrea Love. Influenced by Gospel with Jazz and R&B/Soul overtones and a vocal range just over five octaves - her talent is undeniably a work of perfection.
She has worked with some of music's hottest producers and artists including E-Smoove, Maurice Joshua, M-Doc, Gotta, Michael Manson, George Duke, Darius Brooks, Ledisi, Byron Stingley and Celeda.
Andrea has had several major European chart-topping House hits from her work with Jamie Lewis on the Jazz-infused House track “Faithful” (Purple Music), and Praise Cats which includes “We Got Love”, “Sing”, and her biggest hit to date “Shined On Me” (Subliminal), which was produced by Grammy nominated producer and DJ E-Smoove, who, when asked about working with her says, "Andrea is a phenomenal talent and her passion for music is unmatched. I believe our musical connection was sent from heaven."
The success of “Shined On Me” gained two nominations for the 2002 Italian Dance Music Awards, including Best New Dance Artist and Song of the Year, and also allowed her to perform on the legendary music show Hit Machine in France, and the annual Festival Bar in Italy, where she was listed on the same bill with Avril Lavigne, Michelle Branch and Shakira.
Now Andrea emerges with a hot new inspiration-filled House track that is the result of a collaboration with French composer/producer Gotta entitled “Higher (Hailey’s Song)", to be released on May 28, 2007 on Gotta Records which is already receiving rave reviews from the likes of Lewis Dene of Update Mag/DjMag/BBC online, who wrote the following about “Higher”:
“Oozing of the retro goodness of early Basement Boys and BOP releases, this is quality all the way with Andrea Love (who previously stole our hearts on Praise Cats’ ‘Shine On Me’) in equally impressive vocal form.”
Future releases for 2007 will include the high energy “Listen To the Music” (Gotta Records), as well as House tracks produced by Czr and Malik from the Outhere Brothers, and another inspirational smash hit with Praise Cats.
Andrea's plans for the future will include releasing an Acid Jazz/Soul R&B project that will be produced by E-Smoove, which is scheduled to start production in 2008.
