Keith Thompson has been very productive in the last few years and this year has been no different.  Several releases have been blazing in clubs this season. His remake of "Break 4 Love" with remixes by David Vendetta of France, along with DJ Romain, Moussa Clarke, and Booker T, began as an underground hit in 2006 and became a bona fide smash in 2007.  With constant radio play in Europe and video airplay, he has brought the song back to a new generation.  It hit no.1 on Nocturnal Magazine's Buzz Chart in June 2006 and has gone on to #17 in France, #1 in Bulgaria and Lebanon, and top 20 European and middle East chart positions.  It has been one of the hottest club records of the past year and still going strong in 2007. His current single is ""Body Music" with Jamie Lewis (Purple Music) and based on the early buzz , is shaping up to be very popular this year.  His recent release was "Borders Don't Matter" with a unifying message that is enjoyed strong support aided by mixes from Ralf Gum, Phil Hooton, Central Ave., DJ Nermin, and Thompson.  “Black Skin Blue Eyed Boys”(Monster Bang Music), produced by Paul Simpson and Keith was released earlier in 2007 with strong underground support.  It has even been licensed in Russia. Prior to this, his most recent releases were "Africa In Your Veins" (Waking Monster Media) and "All God's Children Got Rhythm" (Soulfuric Deep), produced by Christian Hornbostel in 2006.  His voice is now emortalized in the biggest selling video game in history, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas which features "Break 4 Love" (the original version) in the game's radio station and on the special double CD release.  The word legend is often over used but most will agree, Keith Thompson is a house music legend having touched every generation of house music lovers with hits that have sold over 3 million. Not many can truly say that.

Keith was the lead vocalist on the classic "Break 4 Love" by Raze release on Columbia (US) and Champion (UK) in 1988.  The international hit lead him to be signed by Capitol records in 1989 where he released the innovative "Can't Take It", coining the phrase "Ragga House" which lead the way for further experiments in house.  After leaving EMI records, in 1992 he established his own label, Level 10 which released the underground classics, "Believe" and "The Rhythm Of Life".  His other recent club hits have been "Living On The Frontline" (West Side, 2003) with producer Victor Simonelli, which was very successful from Europe to South Africa. Later that same year he continued his exposure with the Scott Wozniak produced "It's On", a favorite of DJ like Miguel Migs, Jay Jay, Jamie Lewis and a host of others internationally. He followed his collaboration with Simonelli with the 2006 release of "Dance In Our Time" with a unique blend of Ragga and house it found it's place in the hearts of the underground crowds from Ibiza to London and Marseille. Keith is one of the few artists to have two of his songs ("Living On The Frontline" & "Dance In Our Time") licensed simultaneously on Cirqu Du Soleil's prestegious compilation album Alain Viniet Muvement 2006.

Thompson began in the industry as a radio announcer and DJ on college radio then professionally at WNWK 105.9FM in New York, earlier in his career (1983 - 87) where his music and voice could be heard on commercials for MCI and Concerts At The Pier (NYC).   An early pioneer in house music, he later went on to produce music with other legends of the business such as Vaughn Mason, Marshall Jefferson, Todd Terry, Tony Humphries, Masters At Work, Scott Wozniak, Joe T. Vanelli, Lenny Fontana, Eric Kupper, and Mathias Heilbron.  Thompson has performed in all the major clubs in NYC from the Palladium, the Sound Factory, Limelight, Sound Factory Bar, to the Underground, Studio 54 and the Apollo Theater.  He has toured Japan twice, regularly performs in England, Germany, Italy,  and makes regular appearances in Ibiza. In the past year and a half he has gigged in Seoul, Moscow, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Portugal, Switzerland, Austria, Beirut, Tunisia, Dubai, and the UK.   Keith has always given show stopping performances as well as shared his almost two decades worth of industry knowledge.  Look for him on tour this coming season.
